SenseiMike
you can find the turnament rules by doing a google on JKA rules. You can become a great fighter without ever becoming a martial artist, but no sir, you can not become a great martial artist with out becoming a great fighter. To fight is most certainly not the aim of any true martial art, but they are fighting arts all the same. As martial artists, we must stand ready to fight, even if hoping that such conflict never comes.-My response to a fellow instructor, in a friendly debate
Jurras
I've already tried that - otherwise I wouldn't have posted. The best link I found was JKA Connection but the scanning of the pages are a bit shoddily done. They are scanned from the official JKA Rulebook though (I saw my Shihan use it, in a green format though).I was wondering whether anybody has a link to any other version/format of that rulebook? Thanks in advance,Jurras Shotokan black belt
Shotochick
Jurras - I thought JKA competed usuing the WKF rules which are available fr download from the WKF website....http://www.wkf.net/html/rulesenglish.html "The ultimate aim of karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of the character of its participants." --- Master Gichin Funakoshi
