three60roundhouse Posted March 20, 2002 Posted March 20, 2002 Not really - read Dracula, actually, and didn't think very highly of it. I am more interested in true crime 1st dan Tae Kwon DoYellow Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu16 Years OldGirls kick butt!
Blade13 Posted March 20, 2002 Posted March 20, 2002 Quite interested actually! Being born on Halloween, that sparked my initial curiosity, but then I got my nickname from a vampire (Blade) cuz all of my friends say my teeth are really "vampirish" and that made me become even more interested. Ive done a ton of research on vampires and things of the like. Too bad most websites are devoted to the fictional vampire with the pale skin, cape, and bad haircut. BTW, Im definately seeing Blade II. hehe
Karateka Posted March 21, 2002 Posted March 21, 2002 Blade 2- Damn right! I am definately seeing that movie. My friend and I have been waiting a long time to see that movie. "Never hit a man while he's down; kick him, its easier"Sensei Ron Bagley (My Sensei)

Do unto others, as they done to you.
Jack Posted March 23, 2002 Posted March 23, 2002 I've read Dracula, it was quite interesting but didn't find it very engaging. I used to be quite interested in the Undead and vampires, infact I even wrote a short single-chapter story from the perspective of one, which is my best writing yet. If you'd like it I'm sure I could email you it. JackCurrently 'off' from formal MA trainingKarateForums.com
SaiFightsMS Posted March 23, 2002 Author Posted March 23, 2002 I remember all the saturday nights of Shock Theater when we were kids. Seems like we couldn't get enough of the weird supposedly scary movies. My brother used to actually run home after school every day to watch Dark Shadows. I read Anne Rice and find I enjoy the way Lestat questions the evil and the good. Weird. Just was wondering if I was alone. I am still trying to find out what my brother and sister liked so much in Dark Shadows.
Deathcometh Posted April 16, 2002 Posted April 16, 2002 I'm not really in to much undead things but Blade 2 was pretty good.
Shoto Tiger Posted April 17, 2002 Posted April 17, 2002 Sai, the longer I know you the more we have in common. I am a major fan of Anne Rice and have been ever since I saw the film Interview with a Vampire. I have collected, I think almost all of the Vampire Chronicles now and the New Vampire Chronicles too. Dracula, Blade, Vampyre and all associated vampires have been read, watched, recorded and remembered but Louis, Armand and Lestat will always be the epitomy of romantic blood sampling! Melanie---------------Be nice if I get this right one day...
