Pacificshore Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 whats the purpose of this shirt. does it only obsorb all the sweat? why is this good? isnt it better to keep the sweat? sorry, i dont know too much about it.also, how tight are kneepads suppose to be? thanksIts designed to keep you dry from all the heavy sweating you do while working out. As for the knee pads, tight enough where they stay in place, but not so tight that it cuts off circulation or restricts the range of motion around your knee joints. Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
Maddwraph Posted September 24, 2005 Author Posted September 24, 2005 why is the under armor good then? and how can I tell if the knee pads are cutting circulation? thanks Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
Drithen Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 If your feet turn purple and/or fall off then there is no circulation "Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others. -Colossians 3:23
Maddwraph Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 ok, cool, so how does the under armor help if your sweating a lot? isnt taht unhealthy in some way? Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
SaiFightsMS Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 It wicks the sweat away from you skin into your over layer, gi top, to evaporate.
Maddwraph Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 ahh ok, so thats a good thing? sounds good, if i do no-gi, ill pick it up. Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
Maddwraph Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 i jsut thought about this thing in winter. it must be better right? because the sweat evaporates, and when you go outside, there will be less sweat. is that right? Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
JimmyNewton Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 only people i see wearing under armor are the big freaks in the weight room showing off their bodies..i'd stick to sweat suits unless your ripped. "The wise and successsful will always be met with violent opposition by mediocre minds."
IcemanSK Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I'd recommend it under a uniform, especially for women. I know a lot of women that have a hard time finding something comfortable to wear under their gi. This is a good product for that. Especially the LooseGear shirts. Being a good fighter is One thing.
