KarateK Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Whats the horrific situation in the hatch? And it was me in hospital - torn my cruciate ligament in my knee Karate Ni Sentinashi
gheinisch Posted May 11, 2006 Author Posted May 11, 2006 The horrific situation refers to Anna and Libby getting shot. Jack wants to go after Henry but there would be no one else that could look after Libby. Oh yeah, she's not dead yet. So Ekco and Locke say they will go. But Ekco had a dream and his real agenda is to find the question mark from Locke's drawing. His brother in his dream tells him to find it. They find it under the drug plane that Ekco's brother was found on and Boone was fatally injured on. It's the "Pearl Hatch". KarateK Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I wondered when they were going to find the other hatches. Any thoughts on how thery are going to end the show? Its gonna have to be a biggie to satisfy the fans Karate Ni Sentinashi
gheinisch Posted May 16, 2006 Author Posted May 16, 2006 There has been several guesses as to how the show will end. We have the finale two hour episode here next week. The previews shows all the losties staring out into the ocean and Claire saying "Oh my God". Some are saying it's a tsunami they see, others are saying it's another plane crashing. Maybe even their plane. And others say it's a boat. Who knows, we'll just have to what and see for ourselves. One thing for sure though, I'm sure in the LOST tradition it will leave more questions then answers. KarateK Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Hmm not sure about the tsunami idea - bit dissapointing I think. How many series are there going to be?You had better come back and tell all when you watch it!! Karate Ni Sentinashi
gheinisch Posted May 17, 2006 Author Posted May 17, 2006 You know I let you know what's going on. The episode tonight is titled "Three Minutes", they say that's the time that the "Others" allowed Michael to see Walt. It should be a good episode. Do you know that you can go to the abc site and watch last weeks episode? They're three of them there so far. A special called "Reckoning", "Two for the Road", and "?". "Three Minutes should be available tomorrow. What's great is they are all free to watch. Watching so far ahead of where you guys are may be confusing however. Just thought you would want to know. Hopefully you guys can access the site from there. Here's the Link:http://dynamic.abc.go.com/streaming/landingOh! I almost forgot, I have heard that there is going to be a least three seasons of LOST.Hope the knee is doing better. KarateK Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Have been on the abc site for the recaps but they dont tell you the interesting stuff - not in the way you do gheinisch!! Plus I usually ownly use the internet at work so wouldnt look too good watching eps of Lost while handling the company accounts!!!I kind of don't want Lost to end because I do enjoy it - but really want to know how they plan on pulling it all together to end it. gheinisch Posted May 20, 2006 Author Posted May 20, 2006 Yeah, It probably wouldn't be a good idea watching the whole show at work. From interviews with the writers and producers it sounds like they have already started on some stuff for season four. Jumping up and down with joy. You say I come up with some interesting stuff. How about this one? A little bit about the season finale. Here's part one of what's suppose to be three. Doesn't your friends wonder how you know so much about LOST? "The episode opens with Desmond arriving in the sailboat, completely drunk. In flashback he is being let out of jail and being picked up by his fiancee/wife's father Charles Widmore. Widmore thinks Desmond is useless and tries to talk him into leaving his daughter. Desmond refuses. His backstory is all about Desmond's battle with alcohol. He is desperate to free himself from the bottle and be taken seriously. He sees his "race" as an opportunity for renewal but nobody believes in him. You find out his problems with alcohol are what prevented him from becoming a doctor. When he is "training" at the coliseum he doesn't even have a clue how he is going to enter the race. There is talk of faith and redemption all through this part of his backstory. I think that Widmore was somehow responsible for Libby being in the institution because she is very contemptuous towards him and is working behind his back to help Desmond because she knows it will make Widmore mad. Don't know if she is his wife like some people say, or daughter. Little bit fuzzy here.In the island scenes Desmond and Locke find themselves kindred spirits. When Locke tells Desmond that there was someone watching him, and shows him the printouts and explains the orientation for the Pearl station, Desmond flips out. He can't believe he was set up. Locke explains the situation with Eko and Desmond decides to show him something he thinks can help Locke with his quest to stop the button from being pushed.Meanwhile, Sayid convinces Jin to join him off shore to make sure things are kosher with the Walt rescue. Jin absolutely does not believe that Michael is "compromised" and comes along more to keep an eye on Sayid. Red J Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 Hey G, to use some Hurley talk, "Dude, you're freaking me out." The producers are promising answers for the finale. They know that they have to in order to keep the show alive. They are also looking into how they release the episodes as they shoot 22 or so shows that are released over 35 weeks. They have kicked around the idea of having three chunks with repeats in between. As said before, the challenge will be to continue the momentum without alienating viewers with wacked out theories. To keep the show viable they are looking at keeping the average viewers attention and still leave the intriguing clues for the "Lostologists". It's really funny because some people have spent enough time in this show to have earned a PhD. As far as watching Lost from work, I can't think of a better way to spend the company's money. If you pull that off you could tell people that you watch Lost for a living. "Dude, your job rocks!" I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
gheinisch Posted May 20, 2006 Author Posted May 20, 2006 Hey Red J, In some of the interviews I've read the producers say that they will be introducing new characters and back stories in the upcoming season. You're right about people spending a lot of time on the show. Some people have analyzed the whispers and put the numbers through decoders and all kind of craziness like that. I'm not that bad. I do enjoy reading and finding out neat stuff about LOST.They say one more character will die this season, and rumor has it that it might be Sayid. I hope not, he's one of my favorites. Yeah, wouldn't it be great to have a job like that. There's more to the spoiler stuff that I posted above if you want to see it. Some of it sounds plausible but some of it I'm not to sure about. I guess will have to wait and see for ourselves. "If your hand goes forth withhold your temper""If your temper goes forth withold your hand"-Gichin Funakoshi
