Taco101 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Recently got a pair of open finger sparring gloves made by "Gladiator" (AWMA http://www.awma.com/index.cfm/action/productdetail/product_id/9982.htmThese are the Cobra model. I've sparred about 15 times with them now. These are the best gloves I have tried. Very protective and comfortable. Not a advertisement...just a satisfied review. 1*
shotochem Posted October 3, 2005 Posted October 3, 2005 I bought the same gloves. From the first time I sparred with them on, I loved them. They are very comfortable and are even better after you break them in a bit. They don't hamper takedowns and throws and protect the pinky finger a lot better than my old gloves.(I broke it when it got hooked in my opponents ghi ) Pain is only temporary, the memory of that pain lasts a lifetime.
Keaton21 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 what do y'all think of these?http://www.centuryfitness.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10051&storeId=10051&productId=79987&langId=-1&product_parentId=13572&crumb=13501-13549&categoryId=13572&parent_category_rn=13550I'm not a big fan of fingerless because we fight with mask cages
Taco101 Posted November 13, 2005 Author Posted November 13, 2005 The closed finger design would make gappling and grabs difficult. They'd be OK for pure standup sparring. 1*
