Not at the university I am attending unfortunately.

The university has an affiliate that offers several MAs, but the prices are above the price I pay for training in Denmarks oldest karate dojo. ($50 a month compared to $25-30)

Perhaps the connection is that a lot of people develop an interest in MA at that particular point of their lives?

That sounds really interesting, I've never seen a college that offered martial arts.....hopefully I'll find one when I get back to the states.

Most universities have extra-curricular clubs. It isn't part of class, but usually based at or near the university.

This is differentiated from collegiate sports teams, like boxing or fencing. In these cases, it is usually a literal team.

Not free, but dirt cheap in community colleges.

Mine has taek won do and jujitsu. Never tried them so I can't speak of the quality of the classes. But yeah, it's real cheap, close to where students spend most of their time and impresses the ladies  . Why wouldn't they be popular?

well my community college has tkd and I think jkd,but theyre not free and they dont give you any credits. As for me it's not exactly dirt cheap because I'm an out of district student,so I have to pay double for my classes.
