Interesting you should post this today. Just this morning, I found a rabid raccoon in my yard. It wasn't very hostile, so I just had to keep it away from my cats and my neighbor's cat with a staff I keep near the door (Gently! I didn't whack the freaking thing!).

Didn't really use any martial arts. Mostly Boy Scout knowledge to identify it was rabid. Not all rabid animals will attack you. This one was definitely sick/in pain though. Eventually Animal Control showed up, caught it, and hauled it off.

The only thing i have ever used it for for an animal is when my dog goes crazy and like leaps at me so i use a very very light fan kick to push her to the side and she enjoys it too and then charges at me again for the fun of it. I also do this stepping aorund push with my dog alot and then she looks around wondering where i went. My dog enjoys it though so dont worry, i'm not hurting my dog.

Well if I ever do take a martial arts and get good at it ill go and try to take on a grizzly... Nah just kidding, I also wanna hear a story about Martial artist vs a Animal

If I get attacked by a dog, I'm going to give them my arm to chew on. It's very unlikely you will be able to avoid any injury, and rather than let them get to my neck, I'll stick out a forearm. If I have time enough, I'll wrap my shirt around it.

Once they start chewing on the shirt/arm, I'll either try to blind them or crush their trachea, or similar disabling/killing technique.
