YODA
Do you expect a person who trains in one style to know the exect spellings from another style? I think if it sounds right it should be marked right - especially as this was a "from memory" quiz. Also - don't forget, the correct spelling of an oriental word is a set of Kanji - not a word written in our alphabet. There are quite often several acceptable spellings e.g Kung Fu / Gung Fu. Close is good enough for the Korean language. Some books spell a word that reflects how it is pronounced. Too many dialects are present in that part of the globe. But, the deficit between the two teams is so far that it wouldn't make a difference in the result of the challenge. _________________ Patrick O'Keefe KarateForums.com - Administrator/Grandmaster RIP - Left Eye [ This Message was edited by: Patrick on 2002-04-29 21:10 ] Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com?
