angus88 Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 I'm going to have to go back and reference Seikichi Toguchi's book on this one, but if I'm not mistaken, Sanchin always had two turns, but right before Myagi died, he changed it to only one turn. Something about not wanting or being able to walk around to see both sides of the kata. Like I said, I'll have to check. Then when Myagi died, his successors changed it back to the old way.
