Instructors Course!

Wow 8 hour days...whew! Is there a lot of talking in yours? The only talking that goes on in ours is if the instructor is explaining something. I can't wait till next weekend to finish it! To be certified we have to have 120 hours of student teaching, and with me having my own school that won't be too hard, I allready have 44 hours.

Actually in our instructor's course, everyone gets involved with "talking" or giving advice or whatever. We even "role play." My instructor goes through the course material, then he talks about his "bag of tricks" he learned over the years, then EVERYONE talks about everything. Then we "role play." One of us has to act like an unrulely student, or "little Johny" who doesn't like to listen ect. If we "correct" this person wrong, they don't listen, my instructor will jump in and "show us how it's done." He even goes through teaching techniques, ect. It was a fun day. I learned a lot.

Yeah we do that too...that is a lot of fun! We get to get up there and teach and one of the black belts will start acting up or get out of there front stance and start asking if they can go to the bathroom or they raise their hand and say I GOT A STORY or they go and kick someone while we are doing forms..lol! Its fun!

Hehehehehe One of us did that. It was my turn to act like the unrulely student, and so I kicked the person next me LOL. This other guy acted like a kid that talked alot and he kept saying he needed to go to the bathroom (he actually said it in a kids voice). It was soooo funny.

Sounds like yall's instructors course is laid back just like ours, there is playtime..and yet there is seriousness..do u guys have breaks every hour? We get 5 minute breaks every hour, and 15 minutes for lunch at the 3 hour mark (half way). We finish up instructors course this coming weekend..starting with Blue Belt..FUN..lol!
