We have schools in 12 different states..if you go to https://www.younwha.com you will learn more about it...People do train in this style, a lot of people, we are the most complete style out there. We finished our two day of instructors course today...Master Ceth Jordan and Master Jeremy Fox will be teaching the course our next weekend we have it. •JUST TRAIN•Student of the Han Method"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. Jiffy
we are the most complete style out there. In your opinion and that you know of!Be careful with statements like this. Remember, there are all sorts of styles out there which cover a vast range of things. And for all of us, there are a great many that we have not come into contact with. Most people believe they are doing the best system for them and a closed mind about which one contains "the most" is the quickest way to get offside with other Martial Artists. The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
karatekid1975
I agree. I take TKD, and I just started jujitsu. I can "claim" that's the best combo. It is for me, but it may not be for someone else.Anyways, I am also taking an instructor's course (through the WTF) at my dojang (next meeting in Oct). I need three of these 8 hour courses, and test for BB to be certified. I had one so far. Laurie F
younwhagrl
Wow 8 hour days...whew! Is there a lot of talking in yours? The only talking that goes on in ours is if the instructor is explaining something. I can't wait till next weekend to finish it! To be certified we have to have 120 hours of student teaching, and with me having my own school that won't be too hard, I allready have 44 hours. •JUST TRAIN•Student of the Han Method"Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. CloudDragon
Wow, in the ATA, which is known as the McDojo of all styles, you have to have 300 hours to be an instructor. A Black Belt is just a white belt that don't know when to quit!
Shorinryu Sensei
It isn't the quanity of the time you have in an art, but rather the quality of time you've had. To place an exact number of hours needed to attain the ability to teach isn't a good thing to do IMO. Some people, despite being excellent martial artists themselves, just don't have the ability to teach and pass on the information that they possess.
