Joecooke007 Posted March 17, 2002 Posted March 17, 2002 I'm trying to learn how to breakdance can anyone give me good sites or tips? BTW I just learned the moonwalk. It's so easy. Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
Blade13 Posted March 17, 2002 Posted March 17, 2002 There is a good instructional video that you can order from http://www.breakdance.com. They also have an instructional page with move descriptions and videos of people doing them. Thats how I learned. They are very good directions. They also have some good links to other breakdancing sites. I agree with ya, the moonwalk IS easy. *moonwalks across the forums*
Joecooke007 Posted March 17, 2002 Author Posted March 17, 2002 Thanks Blade. Boards don't hit back. -Bruce Lee
SBN Doug Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 O.k. in the last couple years we're seen swing dancing come back, then bell bottoms and hip huggers, now break dancing. When does the BIG hair comeback begin??? Kuk Sool Won - 4th danEvil triumphs when good men do nothing.
SaiFightsMS Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 Seeing a lot more hair around now than for a long time. Facial hair as well as shoulder length hair on males.
chh Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 The important question is, now that Joe and Blade are breakdancing , will I finally be able to find freakin' straight-leg pants again? Last year I went to pick up some sweats and even THEY were bell-bottoms! I guess the way things are going they'll all be cut like parachute pants now.
SaiFightsMS Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 As long as they aren't clam diggers, pedal pushers, or whatever they are calling those awful pants that only go halfway down your shin. EWWWWWWWWWWWW
Blade13 Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 Hey, when did breakdancing go out of style? Ive seen it on tv and stuff all my life. Ok, thats only been since '86 but....whatever. lol *sigh* I remember the days when I could only spin on my knees when I was 4.... now Im winning battles. hehe
spinninggumby Posted March 19, 2002 Posted March 19, 2002 My brother used to breakdance with a group of friends in high school. He was actually really good, and the training and diligence required on the way to becoming an elite dancer is actually comparable to many hard-core martial artists. We are talking many sore shoulders, sore backs, bumps, bruises, and floor burns (ouch! hehehe). Fun stuff and extremely kewlio to watch also. A lot of the moves also somewhat resemble and overlap with a lotta martial art trick moves and maneuvers (i.e. au batidos, flare, flips, aerials, etc.) 'Conviction is a luxury for those on the sidelines'William Parcher, 'A BEAUTIFUL MIND'
