KF Dude
hey so wut's with haveing all those weird hand positions when u fight in hung gar?Weird hand positions??? Perhaps some of the animal claws might seem strange to you. Rest assured they have specific usage for self defense. They compliment other familiar hand shapes such as the fist or palm. Gloves make it difficult to grab
Goju_boi
well it also depends on what gloves you wear.In my school, when we spar we wear gloves that don't cover your thumb. With these gloves we can do hooking blocks to catch feet and fists. https://www.samuraimartialsports.com for your source of Karate,Kobudo,Aikido,And Kung-Fu
BLueDevil
Since my teacher teaches both I tend to practice hung gar when im in between belts in Kempo. Im able to absorb things better that way. My head would explode if I tried to learn 2 different styles, which they arent VASTLY different but they have there gaps between them, my head would explode. There is no teacher but the enemy.
