the deadliest martial art in the world is the one that is used expertly by a person with no moral values, but to hurt others.

alternitavely, the deadliest martial art is the one that causes the practitioner to get into a fight thinking he knows everything and getting beaten severly becuase of his arrogance.

as said earlier "the deadliest would be the one that is taught improperly".

i think he means the one that concentrates the most on killing techniques, like i take taekwondo, and there arent many nech breaks or anything in there

Well if you really analyze the techniques from most styles they all have some very deadly applications. (IF TAUGHT CORRECTLY).

I guess I'd have to say Kendo- just about every attack they teach you is going to be fatal (cause you're swinging a sword.....)

I've been practicing taekwondo for over 10 years, and I have definitely been taught techniques designed be fatal. I don't know first hand how effective they are, and I hope I never find out.

I don't teach them to my colored belts or even 1st degree black belts.

But it doesnt really matter if the technique is designed to be fatal its how the technique is carried out that will make it fatal, so like its been said a billion times before all martial arts can be fatal.

well if that's the case, it is probably worth mentioning that every aikido technique i have seen so far can result in your attackers arm or neck being broken. that's pretty deadly if you ask me!

i understand that alotta techniques can have deadly applications but allotta martial arts dont focus on it, thats all im saying, and i know taekwondo doesnt focus on one technique kills, but there are some arts where fairly early on you'll be taught techniques SPECIFICALLY for killing, try not to overthink the question
