I want a discussion about Goshin not a thread with someone arguing whether the style is legit. I'm sick of trying to defend the style to people who refuse to listen and have already made up their mind. SO DON'T POST UNLESS IT IS A LEGITAMATE QUESTION OR COMMENTS ON YOUR EXPERIENCES WITH GOSHIN. NO CRAP.
BlueDragon1981 Posted August 23, 2005 Author Posted August 23, 2005 Each teacher changes their system a bit but there generally are 13 to probably 17 katas to get to black belt. Some ad other weapons kata's but others leave them out and only teach at brown belt level and up. The thing about this system is that there is a core but it adapts to adding other styles or aspects of styles to it. It is a hybrid anyway so why not.
