UseoForce Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 BJJ, Muay Thai, (kick)boxing, freestyle and greco wrestling, as well as sambo and judo (to a lesser degree) have already made a name for themselves in the MMA world. My question is, which style has yet to be discovered as an important part of the MMA fighter's aresenal? My opinion? Catch Wrestling: The only problem I see is a lot of tactics that would be considered foul in the UFC, even tough catch wrestlers use them all the time in sparring. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
y2_sub Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 What exactly is catch wrestling ?? Moon might shine upon the innocent and the guilty alike

TJS Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 who knows there will always be new techniques added from varous stlyes. we are starting to see more high kicks and fancier TKDish kicks.
BLueDevil Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 David "The Crow" Louseau(sp?) Has been studing a little TKD so its not to far fetched. That guy is a great fighter with some crazy high kicks There is no teacher but the enemy.
ravenzoom Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 It's David 'the crow' Loiseau, he's from Quebec, Canada, where I'm from, and yes he's a pretty good fighter, starting to make a name for himself in the states now.
BLueDevil Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 he's probably one of the top MW in the world. And one of my favorite fighters. There is no teacher but the enemy.
