I am considering joining a new school. I studied a few years ago and am now starting over in a new system. The dues in the new school are quite a bit higher than i expected. I am just curious what an average price per month most people are paying.

Thanks

I pay $50 a month for tuition and then per each test if we pass we pay $50 again no matter what belt. But we dont get the belt unless we passed and paid, and there are time limits on each belt too.

I do Karate and some other MMA

I pay $35 a month for my training.

My master is well known for not being rich too.

I pay per lesson for training at each of the schools I attend.

The cheapest is £3 per lesson and the most expensive is £7 per lesson.

I no longer pay at karate as I teach as well as train, so my teaching 'pays' for my training times.

about 35 a month. I get a discount because I help teach. Our school is a little bit more expensive than most of the other schools in town, but everybody's heard the saying you get what you pay for.

My students pay $80/month and $50 for testing. We are on the low side in my area, average is around $90/month.

Is that a good thing? I don't want to be known as poor.

I wouldn't want to go to a poor doctor or use a poor lawyer. I'm quite certain I don't think I want my MA instructor to be known for being poor.
