Shogun of Harlem Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I am considering joining a new school. I studied a few years ago and am now starting over in a new system. The dues in the new school are quite a bit higher than i expected. I am just curious what an average price per month most people are paying. Thanks
Superchick Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I pay $50 a month for tuition and then per each test if we pass we pay $50 again no matter what belt. But we dont get the belt unless we passed and paid, and there are time limits on each belt too. I do Karate and some other MMAI love miniture dogs.I hate olives, cheerleaders and telemarketers
Manabimasho1 Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 I pay $35 a month for my training. My master is well known for not being rich too. To become the greatest warrior, one needs to train beyond the physical and into the spiritual becoming supernatural. It is then that the warrior will know that he is indeed not the greatest, but just awakened.https://www.manabimasho.com
aefibird Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I pay per lesson for training at each of the schools I attend. The cheapest is £3 per lesson and the most expensive is £7 per lesson. I no longer pay at karate as I teach as well as train, so my teaching 'pays' for my training times. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." ivette_green Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 25 Canadian dollars a month. Dirt cheap. "Don't tell me what I can't do."
WesQ Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 A little less than $50 a month. Soo Bahk Do - Cho Dan, Dan Bon# 42327Region 9 Team Hyung Champions... moving on to nationals!
BLueDevil Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I pay right at $50 a month. Since I help instruct I have no belt test charge. There is no teacher but the enemy.
ShotokanKid Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 about 35 a month. I get a discount because I help teach. Our school is a little bit more expensive than most of the other schools in town, but everybody's heard the saying you get what you pay for. tkdBill Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 My students pay $80/month and $50 for testing. We are on the low side in my area, average is around $90/month.--
tkdBill Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 I pay $35 a month for my training. My master is well known for not being rich too.Is that a good thing? I don't want to be known as poor.I wouldn't want to go to a poor doctor or use a poor lawyer. I'm quite certain I don't think I want my MA instructor to be known for being poor.
