they are just good becuse of their body weight sumos eat something like 12000 calories a day but i wouldnt want to go againsty one but i imagine they are slow

In fact they only eat 8500 calories a day...in only one meal.... :o

And NO they are NOT SLOW!

emanuel Yarbourgh against a japense takaese was funny to watch in Pride. I think that was the same sumo who went against Keith Hackney in the UFC

Ok but don't forget that he was a 2 time World Sumo Champion in Open Weight, and a 3 time World Sumo Champion in Teams Competition.

But he was, In my opinion, too slow to fight in the octagon. Some Sumo fighters are really big and quick, but he was huge and slow. I think others would have a better chance than him

But he wasn't a yokozuna- just a big fat guy. The really good sumotori, imo, are the smaller athletic types like the current champ Asashoryu, and Chiyonofuji, who goes back a few years.
