Hello! I am, as you can see, new. I practice Judo (I am the worst Judo student ever) and Tae Kwon Do. My username is from a running gag at my dojang: because I am a smart aleck, I once loudly proclaimed to my partner when I was holding the pad for him that I was a sensitive and delicate flower who would wilt from such treatment, so if he kicked my hand again I was going to break his foot...And naturally as I did there was a freak lull in the noise of the class and everyone heard it. And now, I am irrevocably the sensitive and delicate flower.

And a question: from perusing the martial arts websites and forums, I get the impression that tae kwon do is considered the redheaded stepchild under the stairs of martial arts. Why? (Please note I am not trying to start anything, I am just curious.)

Rule Number One: Your fellow classmates are people, not marks.
