I miss the pyung ahn forms (heian ..sp?) Pyung ahn Ee Dan is still my all time favorite. In TKD, I'm kind of working on techniques for all of them (Taegeuks), but Taegeuk sah jang is turning out to be my best. I know all 8, but technique-wise, I like that one (but then again, it changes month by month LOL).

Sanchin, a very simple kata to learn yet an extremely hard kata to master.

My first and foremost favorite empty hand kata is Naihanchi Shodan. Others I like performing include Kusanku Sho and Dai, Itosu-Wansu, Jion, Useishi, and Niseishi.

My first and foremost favorite kobudo kata is Kubo no Kun. Others I like performing include Anigawa no Timbei, Tsuken Sunakake no Eiku, and Maezato no Tekko.

My two favourite open hand forms are Naihanchi Shodan and Seisan, both the Okinawa Kenpo variations as taught by Hanshi Maehara.

My absolute favourite kobudo kata is Toma no Kama.

"You all come from different instructors, so as I look around the room I may see many different

ways of preforming this kata, however, if you are turning left and I turn right, we have a problem."
