Favorite Kata

IMO,the coolest katas out there are(no particular order)

1-Sanseiru from Uechi-ryu school

2-Anan from Ryuei-ryu school

3-Matsumura Hakutsuru from Hohen Soken lineage.

I've never even seen Hakutsura lol. Its a Hachidan kata (pretty sure). The only black belt in my school that know's it is our Sensei, and he's a Rokudan in Matsumura Seito, and Nanadan in Okinawa Te. I'm sure it's gotta be cool.

I don't really have a favorite kata. What I like to do when I'm practicing on my own is start at the bottom and work all of the 13 empty hand kata's that I know in order one after the other without stopping....then try to keep from passing out  .

I have a few favorite katas. The first is Bassai Dai. The second is a Kata called Chubanna Kosanku. Chubanna has a very nice double jump. I aslo doing a Kata named Shinpan Cho. This a very spiritual kata and means alot to me.

My favourite kata is Gojushiho dai. It used to be the worst and i hated it. After a month or two of doing it intensely every session with sensei i have seen the kata for what it is, truly a thing of raw power mixed with flowing techniques, a beautiful thing..!

Half empty or half full?

Hmm, favorite form. I'd have to say Bassai since I've taught and demonstrated it the most. Chil Sung Sam Lo runs a close second. I love sticking those crane stances. Any of you other Tang Soo Do people learned a form called "Ing"?

I have heard of it, but I have not personally seen it. Who created it?
