Favorite Kata

At the moment I'd say my favourites would be

Sochin & Nijushiho Shotokan katas

Kurarunfa and Suparenpei Goju Ryu katas

I dont often see different styles' kata's - other than Shotokan. Would love to just go to another club to see whats what and how different kata styles are

Of the Okinawan kata: Shisochin, Miyagi-no Sanchin.

Of the Japanese kata: Kanku-Dai; tekki kata (all); Heian Godan, (my old friend).

I practice Shin Neko Do GoJu and my favorite kata (for now) is Empi Ha. I think it has to do with the fast hand techniques involved.

My favourite is Bassai Dai... Great kata; one of those that you can emphasise (sp?) speed in different areas... Love it!

My favorite kata is Heian Yondan. Slow and powerful to start but with some brutal and fast sequences.
