Sengra
so does anybody overthere speak spanish?Very few in Philippines speak Spanish. It's a dying language in Philippines because it has been replaced by English.Zauriel, Kababayan...I know that there is a form of spanish being spoken in the southern Philippines where I come from, a "vulgar" spanish...Chavacano...I'm not really sure what's the difference, though I speak a little spanish,as I speak Cebuano myself...and you're right, many Filipino words were borrowed from the Spanish language, such as our term for table, lamesa, which in spanish means 'the table'. Yeah, Escrima comes from 'esgrima', the spanish term for fencing... The stronger swordsman does not always win.
