Tang Soo Do and the military TKD Oh Do Kwon forms are very long. The regular TKD forms though aren't quite so long. They still take some memory to be able to remember the different sets. I have respect for the Kung Fu guys that know 50 or more forms that look like they are between 100 and 200 techniques long each.

Kicks, that’s very remarkable. I just started learning Yoo-Shin from my John Chung video. It is a very nice looking form. It must take you several hours to go through all of your forms.

Aodhan, those are new names to me, what style/substyle are those from?

They are the names of the Songahm style, used solely by the ATA (American TKD Assn.) EGM Lee created them in the early 80's, and we have used them since.

Has anyone heard of a korean kicking kata????

or any kata that may be known for its kicking?

in my style, moodukkwon taekwondo we do:

basic forms 1-3

pyn ahn 1-5

bassai

nihanchi 1-3

then this korean kicking kata....that I can't seem to find anywhere.....

can anyone help me out here?

In Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, the highest learned form that I am aware of is Kong Sang Goon. As far as applications and such go, I'm useless in relaying info as I'm a 1st dan, and in my style it's typically taught as a 4th dan.
