did your martial arts change they way you deal with things at work, school, home, with family, with everybody?

(im not looking for "i bow to my boss" for an answer)

i know.. yah im using this very often

but that's not what im asking

for example i used to fight with my dad a lot, and confront him a lot.. until i learned to "absorb" his energy and then spit it back at him later.. it actually helped avoid lots of fights with my old man

I answer my boss "yes sir" at my second job even though I don't have an ounce of respect for him.

I also seem to refer to every child I meet as "buddy" and break into my teaching mode when I see kids get unruly wherever I go....luckily so far parents haven't been insulted and actually have been the utmost thankful :lol:

I don't think I necessarily changed my manners. For me, I just learned that older people often times have something to offer. I have greater respect for knowledge. When it is passed on to me, I thank those who give it. Too bad I can't do the same for school work!

with me I dont think MA training has changed me that much as far as my manners.I think the way your brought up is the way you'll act when you get older for the most part.If your a bad person before MA training then with training you'll be a bad person who can hurt you.
