Kajukenbopr
I was actually goign to open a thread on this....I find that while practising Karate or Kung fu one does not need to adopt the boxing position. I have sparred in the boxing position and I find it uncomfortable for me to launch a full on attack...By using Karate or kung Fu stances not only do I find myself more comfortable but I also got to catch my opponents off guard- they were expecting a different stance. However, not everyone finds it comfortable and by staying in karate forms the footwork becomes a bit more complicated for someone without too much experience but it can be done. The boxer stance tends to be easier to manuever, but without too much footwork you become a well guarded punching bag....so I say it all goes down to training, training a lot to become good <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
