Kajukenbopr
i belive wing chug because it is a basically close quater martial art in the main and when you need to defend yourself you are usually in a close quarter situation you arnt in a big field with lots of space to manuver or dodgeFor high speed encounters and self defense I think WC is one of the best styles out there. they MIGHT have some trouble with some high kicking styles because with kicks, you can make more space.--no trouble for an experienced fighter though-- <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
Goju_boi
hey tang soo do isn't karate,it may be marketed as karate but it's not.Although it does have it's Japanese influences it's still not karate. https://www.samuraimartialsports.com for your source of Karate,Kobudo,Aikido,And Kung-Fu
UseoForce
I think "karate" is (more like "was") used interchangably with Asian martial art, probably for marketing purposes when karate was popular. Most people don't know what Tang Soo do is, but everyone knows what karate is. All the Tang Soo Do schools in my area have signs that say karate. Anyway, it's not real important to this thread, so I'll shut up. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
