chi to boost strength and speed

I've read that 2 men, both physical attributes the same, were tested like this:

one man did weight training, 10 reps of 5 with 30 lb weights

the other man imagined he was doing 10 reps of 5 with 30 lb weights

in the end it was shown they both achieved a similar muscle development.

This has nothing to do about Chi, but you can see the correlation of brain power.
