ShotokanKid Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 If you're still worried about the color of your belt by the time you hit shodan, you've got a long way to go (I think the awareness should be built in from day one that black belt doesn't mean anything rather than "by the time you get it you realize it"). That was a nice long post. I like the part I quoted in particular... if you remember, I posted an article that went into my dojo newspaper about what I quoted.
