kotegashiNeo Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I was just curious about my new sensei. I train in Barrie On Canada and his name is Sensei Stephan Ohlman (sp) has anyone heard of him ? Kisshu fushin oni te hotoke kokoro
Enviroman Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I'd be surprised if anyone has heard of him (since you're not in a particularly huge part of Canada) but you'll be able to tell if he's a good teacher, I think. If you feel comfortable under him and if he works well with you, then just enjoy the ride. BTW, I love the kotegaeshi at full speed!
Kasumi27 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 it doesn't really matter on the Sensei but the student.Remember this. training under a good Sensei doesn't gurantee you anything, whereas a talented student learns all just the same from any other dojo. The bottom line is: can you learn and execute the technique effectively in real life. ----------------------------Kasumi - Aikido Shodan----------------------------
