MasterH Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Which is better? One, the other or both? I'm looking at both and can't decide with out signing up for both and comparing. Before I do that, I thought I'd ask. Adam (Fluffy) Huntleyhttps://www.rleeermey.comhttps://www.martialartsindustry.net
Squawman Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 We used to belong to NAPMA and my instructor was actually a regional director but NAPMA became all about money so people started to jump ship and alot went to MAIA. They had a good convention in Vegas with alot of speakers. They also have a good monthly package with a magazine, a CD with advertizing and DVD with instructor tips which I like because it gives you some good ideas.
MasterH Posted July 21, 2005 Author Posted July 21, 2005 You don't recieve all that (CD, tips ect...) with NAPMA? Adam (Fluffy) Huntleyhttps://www.rleeermey.comhttps://www.martialartsindustry.net
Squawman Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 You do but it has really gone down in quality. MAIA has much better in terms of tips from Martial Artists like the Kovars, Tom Callos and Bill Wallace to name a few.
MasterH Posted July 22, 2005 Author Posted July 22, 2005 All big names.....Well that just to bad for NAPMA. thanks for the info! Adam (Fluffy) Huntleyhttps://www.rleeermey.comhttps://www.martialartsindustry.net
kenpo4life Posted October 25, 2005 Posted October 25, 2005 how much is the MAIA package per month? If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
MasterH Posted October 26, 2005 Author Posted October 26, 2005 how much is the MAIA package per month? Not sure, I'm looking into it. My club opens in the spring, and I'm thinking about it. I assume it around $100-$120/ month. Adam (Fluffy) Huntleyhttps://www.rleeermey.comhttps://www.martialartsindustry.net
Aodhan Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 Are there any benefits to belonging other than the tips and seminars? Is there a group insurance available under the MAIA/NAPMA umbrella? Are there other advantages to being a member?Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player

Think of the these other groups like a buisness group. The tips are great, you get a monthly lay out copy ready adds, both groups now have (massive) yearly clinics.........$120/month just for the adds are worth it.
