Maddwraph Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 at my gym, where im taking BJJ, they are offering an hour and a half class of Muay Thai each saturday in the morning for $20. im going tomorow, which is the first day. is one class per week of Muay Thai worth it? i took the workshop, and its a very fun. it seems very ideal for self defense. anyways, hope i enjoy it, its once class per week. Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
Khun Kao Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Depends.... If your primary goal is to train in BJJ, then a 90-min class per week would be a good supplement to your training. If you are serious about training MuayThai, then one 90-min class per week just won't cut it. TheDevilAside Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 If you can afford it, go for it. You'll pick up on a lot of new, useful stuff and be exposed to another martial art that you might be interested in pursuing in the future. "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Sir Winston Churchill
Maddwraph Posted July 18, 2005 Author Posted July 18, 2005 yeah, i would ehck it out for 3 days a week, but then id have to go about an hour from where i live. theres not too much muay thai schools here in ny, unless you go to the city. Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
