at my gym, where im taking BJJ, they are offering an hour and a half class of Muay Thai each saturday in the morning for $20. im going tomorow, which is the first day. is one class per week of Muay Thai worth it? i took the workshop, and its a very fun. it seems very ideal for self defense. anyways, hope i enjoy it, its once class per week.

Depends.... If your primary goal is to train in BJJ, then a 90-min class per week would be a good supplement to your training.

If you are serious about training MuayThai, then one 90-min class per week just won't cut it.

If you can afford it, go for it. You'll pick up on a lot of new, useful stuff and be exposed to another martial art that you might be interested in pursuing in the future.

yeah, i would ehck it out for 3 days a week, but then id have to go about an hour from where i live. theres not too much muay thai schools here in ny, unless you go to the city.
