well i haven't seen a 9th Dan Black belt but I know my teacher is 1st Dan Black and i am a jr black belt I am and ASST TaeKwonDo Teacher we both learned from our teacher who is in the Hall of Fame and his name is Master Joseph Gonsalves and he is a 7th Dan Black belt

The only 9th degree I know of locally is GM Ro. His father created Song Moo Kwan TKD. Unfortantely he was visiting korea the one time I went to his dojang to view a class so I didn't get to meet him but he is supposed to be a good guy.

I get to meet Grand Master Jhoon Rhee in one week at a black belt graduation. He's 73 I believe, and a 10th dan.

Brenda Sell I believe is 50 and now an 8th degree...highest non korean female...

and Ed Sell is in his 50s (I think) and he is a Kukkiwon cert 9th.
