Sankaku Jime Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 There is also a great deal of attention paid to evasion and spying. Most of the other stuff people posted was accurate. There is also a great deal of attention paid to ground fighting contrary to what someone else posted. The groundfighting/grappling aspect is called Jutaijutsu. The regular stand up aspect is called Dakentaijutsu. There are also several other techniques or "jutsu" incorporated into Budo Taijutsu.
Sankaku Jime Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 With regard to competition, there are no ninjutsu competitions but there are people from my dojo who compete in NHB, MMA, and grappling tournaments.
