Sam Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 im surprised at the amount of people saying front [i know its not alot but its more than expected..] do you mean front pushing? i.e. lean into the kick?
scad Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 mine is either backside kick, or thunder round house. i favor backside nomatter what it be.will power and heart produces great things nomatter what it be, will power and heart produces great things
scad Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 yeah thunder round house, its Tae Kwon Do, so you kick to the midrift then set, turn the front heel facing target then throw yourself into a spin with your back leg, then another roundhouse to face level in the rotation. nomatter what it be, will power and heart produces great things
Menjo Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Is it really effective in a real situation? Or kinda just a sport move? "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
Sam Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 its either a reverse side kick, a back piercing kick or a back kick..... a thunder round house sounds a bit weird.... but iget what u mean...at head height its a little impractical but at chest height it can be very effective.generally it is taught as a sparring techique.
KLax87 Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 hmm i would say my turning jump back kick and jump roundhouse kick from a vert. position kicking with back leg would be 2 of my best. ground kick would be in-to-out kick. i believe TKD calls it a crescent kick? 2nd Dan Soo Bahk Do. Dan Bon - 36884
Sam Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 ur crescent is ur most powerful? as in force or just speeD?
Menjo Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 wow my cresent it one of my weakest but i saw a guy who could probably smash your car with it, so nice job on getting power through it "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
EternalRage Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 My crescent alone is not that great. But most powerful is my jumping spinning back leg crescent (inside out as you turning). I call it my Meteor Lighting Crescent.
