UseoForce Posted June 27, 2005 Author Posted June 27, 2005 I dealt the killing blow the other day (left roundhouse elbow ) Bag kinda flew off.I guess there's nothing to do but replace it (?) If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
elbows_and_knees Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 I've done that as well. I've made the handle on the bag tear, and I've bent a link on the chain, causing it to fly off. I had to replace the chain in the latter case and the whole bag in the former.
UseoForce Posted June 28, 2005 Author Posted June 28, 2005 Could I have hung it improperly :? If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
elbows_and_knees Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 it's possible. Or, the s hook or whatever hook it was mounted on was weak.

Qui Gon Tzu Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I suspended my Everlast Bag with a double hook springinserted inbetween the 1/2" Eyebolt and the chain arrayprovided by Everlast for suspension. The spring, as I recall is a 200 pound test. It absorbs the shock from kicking and punching as well as reduces the amount of swing during use. “Evil cannot be conquered in the world, it can only be resisted within one’s self.” – Master PoMy Cup is Empty
