Hi Goose (Darryl), nice to have you here - why don't you tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi Guys,

Firstly, thanks to everyone for the warm greeting, and making me feel welcome

I'm 32 y/o and I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

I have a 9 Kyu in Shotokan Karate, and I'm now studying Okinawan Kobudo under the watchful eye of Sensei Tobias and his father Jim Reece.

I have tried other martial arts, such as WTF Taekwondo (which I enjoyed immensely, but had to give up due to injury), Tang Soo Do, and Wing Chun. But now feel that I have found the ideal art(s) that I wish to learn.

I'm very open minded, and I hate politics within martial arts. As I always say, "A martial art is as good, as the person who uses it."

Another thing that I can't stand is martial artists (and other people) with big egos.

Other than that, I'm a fairly nice guy
