yellowbeltchic
The system I practice is Che-lu. It is an American Karate system developed by Grandmaster John Mason. I think once you have found a system stick with it, but also learn of other systems and respect them as well. Anyone can throw a reverse punch, but if you do not have heart, then your punching will be in vain.
CapitalKarate
Up until, I think it was, January, I practiced Kobayashi Shorin-ryu. I definitely see the traditional okinawan karate styles as geared more towards combat/self defense so I'm certainly going to be getting back into them. Probably gojuryu karatejutsu. Joshua Brehm-When you're not practicing remember this; someone, somewhere, is practicing, and when you meet them, they will beat you.
