Sam
Good suggestion -but failing that - i think its probably a resume detailing sporting achievements in karate - grades / tournaments, etc.

Sam
yeha would have been better to ask, but still - try and cover all the bases, write a resume of all you MA achievements since you started - that should cover it.
Aodhan
yeha would have been better to ask, but still - try and cover all the bases, write a resume of all you MA achievements since you started - that should cover it.Pretty much. I would do it much like a job resume. Instead of listing by jobs, list by dojo. Show the time you were there, and list two-three bullet points of the highlights of your training. Something like:Master Whoozits super duper MA academy June 2002-Aug 2004- Advanced from third gup to first dan- Assisted with several beginner classes a week- Specialized in jumping up and down on white beltsThen later, list your major achievements during your careerMajor Accomplishments2004 - Az State champ forms/sparring2002 - Ranked top 10 world - Forms2001 - Chosen as black belt of the year, region 20000000Things like that should make a nice resume.Oh, also don't forget a statement at the top of maybe why you pursue martial arts.AodhanEdited to add: You can also include other sports in the same manner, i.e.Joseph Zebediah College - Wrestling team 2002-2004- etc- etc- etc There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
Sam
yep aodhan explained it well - just what you have done - anything in your life relating to your MA experience.... police training, etc.Good luck!
