You said "i must write...", so I'm assuming (I know, silly of me  ) that somebody told you to write this resume...why not ask them what they want?

My nightly prayer..."Please, just let me win that PowerBall Jackpot just once. I'll prove to you that it won't change me!"

Good suggestion -but failing that - i think its probably a resume detailing sporting achievements in karate - grades / tournaments, etc.

yeha would have been better to ask, but still - try and cover all the bases, write a resume of all you MA achievements since you started - that should cover it.

Pretty much. I would do it much like a job resume. Instead of listing by jobs, list by dojo. Show the time you were there, and list two-three bullet points of the highlights of your training. Something like:

Master Whoozits super duper MA academy June 2002-Aug 2004

- Advanced from third gup to first dan

- Assisted with several beginner classes a week

- Specialized in jumping up and down on white belts

Then later, list your major achievements during your career

Major Accomplishments

2004 - Az State champ forms/sparring

2002 - Ranked top 10 world - Forms

2001 - Chosen as black belt of the year, region 20000000

Things like that should make a nice resume.

Oh, also don't forget a statement at the top of maybe why you pursue martial arts.

Aodhan

Edited to add: You can also include other sports in the same manner, i.e.

Joseph Zebediah College - Wrestling team 2002-2004

- etc

- etc

- etc

There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.

yep aodhan explained it well - just what you have done - anything in your life relating to your MA experience.... police training, etc.

Good luck!
