Kaminari Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I think it really depends on the fighers. If one is of superior skill, they're likely to win, regardless of size.

Anbu Alex Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 As a tall person the advantage is the distance for attacking and evasion but tall people usally have weaker knees that shorter ppl White belt for life"Destroy the enemies power but leave his life"
Menjo Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 As a tall person the advantage is the distance for attacking and evasion but tall people usally have weaker knees that shorter pplReally how so? Another advantage a tall person has is he/she probably has more muscle mass all around. "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
Sam Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 and a higher weight.... why do u think taller people have weaker knees?
Menjo Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I had the same question but ive heard that taller people genraly do have weaker knees, I asked someone once and this may or may not be acurate but he said of how the body puts pressure on the legs even though they may have more muscle the knee still has to support the body.Just something I heard once... "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
Anbu Alex Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 yea my doctor said the same thing Menjo posted a good example is that alot of the taller basketball players have bad knees White belt for life"Destroy the enemies power but leave his life"
elbows_and_knees Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 all the short guy needs is good footwork. once he's in close, he has the advantage. A perfect example of this was mike tyson in his prime.
