fujita san Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 is street fighting more effective than one martial arts
ninjanurse Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 I am going to move this to Comparative styles. Traditional-Fist Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 If a street fighter comes against a trained martial artist who has a streetfighter mentality he will loose. When I say trained I don't mean the Mcdojo variety either. Use your time on an art that is worthwhile and not on a dozen irrelevant "ways".
judoguy Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 There is no such thing as streetfighting as a system or way of fighting, only people who are trained and those who have little to no training. All streetfighting is just a setting in which a conflict takes place, nothing more. You should go to the combative arts forum and check out goshinmans topic entitled "the truth about the streetfighter and streetfighting". There is some good info there. I'm only going to ask you once...
Patrick Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 I will go ahead and close this thread and direct you to the links that ninjanurse mentioned.Thanks.
