Conqueror
Yeah, I feel sorry for those who live in some of the more populous areas that have outlawed handgun carry. Here in NC it costs about $150-200 to get a concealed weapon permit. It's tough to beat a good pistol for self defense, IF you train with it. Too many people buy a gun and carry it around but never actually go shooting with it on a regular basis, and they expect to be able to use it effectively. Any weapon is just like karate - you have to train regularly to become proficient. Jason B.Hendersonville, NC"I'm not really eccentric... emma
Recently I took part in black belt lesson for adults and we practised using sai's and how to handle them with only my left and right hand together and then practise a kata or movement with them. I really enjoyed that lesson, I thought it was really cool.

ProjectJanus
Brass knuckles.Keeps you safe, very low profile. I have never actually used them, and I wouldn't if it was just a normal fight. Although, if someone else had a weapon, I wouldn't hesitate to use them. There will always be the Jackie Chans and Jet Li's who will come along and dazzle us with their screen antics. But Bruce Lee was a seeker of knowledge, a true master of the fighting arts and philosophy.
