I have a very simple solution to your question. Any art will do. Its up to you to have the attidue and the balls to kick the sh*t out of someone when it comes down to it.

HI guys

I'm not very good at combat martial arts...but I thought I'd give my view.

I was once at an award ceremony and on a video they showed a martial art called "Ultimate Fighting System" (not UFC). It seemed to be designed for the street.

They are of course other "new" martial arts such as Karate Jitsu.

I love combat martial arts... There's no better feeling than knowing that you can defend yourself to a degree that u could fight a small war and come out on top!

Any martial arts training will give you an upper hand on the street, but for self defence realistically I must say Muay Thai and Brazillian Jiu Jutsu look quite good

There's a lot of styles that are good for realistic fighting, don't let bad movies convince you otherwise. :-)

Hey, Angus, I think jack is following you... of course, I only noticed, because I'm following jack...
