Another reason why the Black Belt is mysterous is for the non-MAs and most of the Kyu ranks never see what the Black belt class is like.So non-MA's create a myth about there deadly techniques ect.

skeptic 2004, i really like the analogy between shodan and being 18. I didnt know about the fact that passing shodan was not an idealized event in japan/okinawa. i think it makes sense, its just going one level up after all, its not like from that point you can become a super sayan or have superpowers.

I cant believe that some people when they get there black belt think there the ultimate fighting machine but McDojos make it worse by giving these people false cofidence.The idea that they think there Uber because they got a black belt in what ever art.

Umm confused about that korens having the red belt thing it sounds weird to me
