Phantasmatic Posted February 19, 2002 Posted February 19, 2002 Has anyone been to the Chicago World Championships? I went to it and have earned the right to be called World Champion (So says my sensei) I really don't know if I do because There was only 60 people in my division (13-17). I think there is more than 60 martial artists that are between the ages of 13 and 17! Do you think I have the right to be called a World Champion, please give some input! Cory Reynolds Posted February 20, 2002 Posted February 20, 2002 It would sound accurate to say that you are world champion of the 13-17 division of the Chicago world championship of the particular year that you competed It's probably only worth bragging about to people that were actually at the tournament though. Phantasmatic Posted February 20, 2002 Author Posted February 20, 2002 True Mr. Reynolds, Having thought about it for a while that is probably the truth! "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi
