How do you keep your focus?

It's natural to lose focus. The concentration levels of all people differ. I usually am unfocused in the beginning of class, but after our Sensei practices Kumite for a while, I start to find concentrating an easier thing.

You could also think about what your initial goal is for practicing martial arts; that usually gets me focused as well.

hey thanks all..thanks V..yea i understand that not everyone focuses perfectly...but good adivice, i will use it today!

i personally do a little run right before pratise to be quite warmed up and already a little tired...i think ill take that time to address the minute everyday problems, then ask myslef what my goals are, then say whats more important while i open the dojo door.
