Science Project

My son ( who is in elementary school ) is doing a science project for school entitled "Why Do Martial Artists Yell?". He is trying to find some references ( other than me ) that he can use.

Does anybody know of any good articles or discussions about this? I know the answer ( at least, what I tell my students ) but he is looking for some other points of view.
