Exactly how hard is it to fight a Capoiera master?

i'm still painfully to capoeira, but my instructor says that if someone is in jinga for that long, he's either new, or he really sucks. so, using that logic, if you saw it that much, they were either pretty new, or something. that said, i haven't seen much out side of omulu capoeira, but know there's a difference between playing capoeira and fighting with capoeira.
