Hogosha
Does anyone know what Guardian is in Japanese? - Hogosha
Shorin Ryuu
Your name Hogosha means guardian, although I believe that has more connotations of guardian in the legal sense.I believe the word Shugosha has more martial or romantic overtones, like guardians of the temple, or guardians of the world order. That sort of thing. Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/

Do you think the name Shugosha would be better to use than Hogosha?EDIT: And how would you say these to?Ho go sha?Shoe go sha? - Hogosha
Shorin Ryuu
Yeah, that's how you say them. There are no dipthongs or anything though. Just Shu go sha (the syllables are all the same length).I do believe shugosha is a more appropriate term for what you have in mind. Maybe you can ask mods or someone to change your name, if you really wanted to. I don't know the rules or even the capabilities regarding this matter.
